Schubert Tribianco 2011
Tribianco is three bianco’s. A wine of three white grapes Chardonnay, Pinot Gris & Mueller Thurgau (late harvested) all in approximately equal proportion. Very European influenced and particularly resembles the better Northern Italian styles of Friuli, Veneto and Alto Adige. We love it! If only there could be more wines like this and more of this wine!
Delicious aroma of lemon/lime cordial with an enchanting complexity of rain on hot stones that falls into the realm of “minerality”. Rich, dry and highly textural palate.
14.5 % alcohol which the wine takes well in its stride!
Closure: Cork
Winemaking; cool fermentation, 4 months ageing on lees in old French oak barrels.
Drink: ready to consume now.
